Intro
Auckland War Memorial Museum is our founding client.
We have proudly supported the Auckland Museum for the past 5 years (and counting), acting as Museum's content production department, empowering their teams with content solutions.
Throughout that period, we delivered over a hundred visual projects, including exhibition campaigns, promotional videos, photoshoots, and much more. Most importantly, we get to work with an iconic institution and a group of incredible people.
Highlights
A promotional campaign for Auckland Museum's annual 'Night at the Museum' event. We created a film and a series of campaign stills to be used across digital and social channels, as well as in-cinema advertising.
The crowd favourite, the 'Secret World of Butterflies' featured thousands of butterflies (pūrerehua) from the Shannon Collection, on display for the first time. Along with interactive experiences, the exhibition drew massive crowds to Auckland Museum.
To promote the exhibition, Department was briefed to create a short promotional film featuring young children visiting Auckland Museum and delving into the new exhibition. We wanted to show the key audience (families with kids) what it would be like the explore the exhibition.
'Are We There Yet' exhibition celebrated the 125th anniversary of Women’s suffrage in Aotearoa. Department was briefed to create a promotional video for social media that would raise awareness of the exhibition, encourage people to visit and think in a different way about today’s issues and reposition Auckland Museum as a place that explores contemporary topics.
From campaign shoots, stock photo libraries, to countless events, exhibitions and internal photoshoots we performed over a 100 photoshoots with the Auckland Museum team.
